Occupational therapists help people get jobs, right?

Not exactly. Occupational therapists help people of all ages engage in their life more fully. We identify barriers and break through them using creativity paired with common sense.

Occupations are not only jobs we get paid for. They are anything we do over the course of a day: get dressed, sign a document, focus on a hobby, pour a drink and so much more.

Sometimes physical, emotional or cognitive obstacles prevent us from participating in a task we value and enjoy.

That’s where OT comes in. We want you to be able to perform all your “jobs” of life.

OT Time specializes in pediatric settings, specifically schools, to empower students and teachers to foster an environment for all to thrive.
